She was predeceased by : her husband Albert L. Given; her parents, George Hillard and Elsie Houck Hillard; her daughter Faye Shingle; her grandchildren, Zane and Sharon; and her brothers, Vernon and Claud Hillard.

She is survived by : her children, Dorothy L. (Guy Weidman) of Lebanon, PA, Douglas L. (Artist Given) of New Providence and Linda J. (Harry Walter) of Tennessee. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren.
