He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew John Woods and Mary Ann Woods (Glunt); his wife Evelyn Bretz (Deimler); his sisters, Geraldine Nimmon (Glunt) and Della Mae Ile (Woods); his former wife Delores Meck (Hilmer); his daughters, Juanita Funk (Meck) and Dolly Notz (Meck); his granddaughter Angela Meck; his great grandchild Kylee Keiser; and his grandson Joshua Meck.
He is survived by:, Bobby Woods, Vivian Notz (Meck), Walter Meck IV, James Bretz, Judy Mitchell (Bretz), Wesley Bretz, Tracy Straley (Bretz), Craig Bretz, Shane Bretz and Troy Bretz. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
