It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Himes of Newport, Pennsylvania, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 13, 2020, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Anna, Lloyd Venteicher, Lois and John Himes. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Himes of Newport and Donna Matthews (Venteicher) of Harrisburg; his daughters, Aija Snook-Himes of Carlisle and Aubrey Himes of Enola; his brother Ryan Himes of Ft. Myers; his stepfather Clarence Matthews of Harrisburg; and his stepbrother Chris Matthews of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
