He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kapp and Lilly Kapp (Haines); his wife Martha Kapp (Marcaccio); and his siblings, Donald Kapp, George Kapp, James Edward Kapp, Whitey Shull, Kathryn Quigley, Mary Ellen Shoop, Jeanette Niman and Martha Witmer.
He is survived by: his children, John H. Kapp, Jr. (Patty) of Mechanicsburg and Cathy Tomchak of Harrisburg; his granddaughter Allison Janosko (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Maddox and Greyson.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (811 Shermans Valley Rd, New Bloomfield, PA 17068). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Newport Ambulance League, 50 S. Third St, Newport, PA 17074, or St. Bernard's Catholic Church, New Bloomfield.
