With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Mattern (Newport, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sharon Taylor Mattern (Shari); his daughters, Tara L. Mattern and Megan E. Mattern; his grandchildren, Connor Jeffery Kettoman, Kayden E. Kettoman and Mason R. Gutshall; his brother John Reighter; and his parents, Luther Mattern and Virginia Mattern of Newport.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Highland Presbyterian Church (11 Church Rd, Newport, PA 17074). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
