It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Wade Barlup of Newport, Pennsylvania, born in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 26, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Jessica Barlup (Sowers); his children, Henry and Eleanor Barlup; his parents, Donald Barlup and Linda Barlup; his brother Daniel Barlup (Alyssa); his nieces and nephews, Colin, Calleigh and Ava; his grandmother Sarah Jane Kurtz; and his father-in-law Bruce Sowers (Pat). He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highland Presbyterian Church (11 Church Rd, Newport, PA 17074). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
