We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 79, Janice M Howell (Newport, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leaman Bitting and Ethel Bitting (Murphy); her husband Elmer E. Howell; her siblings, Sam, Park, Wayne Bitting and Sally Snyder; and her great grandchildren, Kaden and Salem.
She is survived by: her children, Elmer E. "Doc" Howell, Jr. (Patty), Kandy J. Isenberg (Mike) of Newport, PA. and Brenda L. Gross (Chris) of Newport, PA.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Myers Funeral Home (125 Walnut St, Newport, PA 17074). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
