He was predeceased by: his father Merle W. Fissel; and his nephew Craig S. Cullison. He is survived by: his mother Betty M. Heffner Fissel Hardy; his stepfather Ralph E. Hardy of Oberlin; his sister Bonita M. Fissel Cullison (Stephen H.) of Liverpool; and his nephew Adam S. Cullison. He is also survived by four great nephews and one great niece.
