It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadine Baluh Toland of Newport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, George P. Baluh and Mary M. Baluh (Vitikacs); and her sister Eleanor. She is survived by : her daughter Kelly Ann Toland (Hugo Avila); her grandchildren, Emily Avila (Wilfredo Riquelme) and Daniel Avila (Regina); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Sophia and Emma.
A long, slow battle with Alzheimer's disease and diabetes took its toll, but even so, Bernie overcame the initial impact of COVID-19 in April of this year.
