Nagel (Bowers); his children, William Nagel, Jr. (Tracy) and Christine Smith (Michael); his stepdaughters, Christine Schoell (late Bill Schoell), Michelle Riben (Daniel) and Roberta Prygon; his close friends, Courtney Sebastian and Mary Beth Burt (Daniel); his grandchildren, Evan Nagel, Carter Nagel, Jessica Cratsley (Zachary), Amanda Smith and Zachary Pond; his stepgrandchildren, Shelby Shuster (Ryan), Philip Smythe, Jessica Mackenzie (Stephen), Alyson Martin (Riley), Griffin Burt, Grady Burt and Emily Burt; and his sister-in-law Susan Martin-Nagel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
