With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan A Gallo of Newell, Pennsylvania, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 19, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Doyle and Josephine Tronconi Doyle Leyda; her stepfather William Leyda; and her parents-in-law, John and Rose Gallo.
She is survived by: her husband John E Gallo; her son John William Gallo (Cathy) of Belle Vernon; her grandsons, John Carlo Gallo (Saira) and Josh William Gallo (Lia); her great grandchildren, Clare Gallo, Branna Gallo, Aiyla Gallo and Inara Gallo; her brother Stuart Leyda; and her nieces, Kathryn Hauth and Donna Hauth.
