It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith McQuillis of Newell, Pennsylvania, born in Pricedale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Katchmark and Teresa Popovich Katchmark; and her siblings, Robert Katchmark, Pauline Cummins, Katherine Hamilton, Dorothy Hathaway, Betty Ambler and Mary Anne Ercegovich.
She is survived by: her husband Dale R. McQuillis; her daughter Tina; her son-in-law Robert Staley; her sons, Dale (Dorothy McQuillis), Richard (Kathy McQuillis) and Timothy (Jean McQuillis); her sister Pearl Snyder of Belle Vernon; her grandchildren, Bobby Staley, Dale (Alyssa A. McQuillis), Kellie (Derrick Breegle), Timothy (Jessica McQuillis), Joshua McQuillis, Shayne McQuillis and Ian McQuillis; and her great grandchildren, Allen McQuillis, Albert McQuillis, Mason McQuillis, Donnie Breegle, Lilly Breegle, Leo Breegle and Riley McQuillis.
In accordance with state mandates masks MUST be worn and social distancing must be maintained.
