She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Allison and Mary Clippinger Piper Edmonson; her son Fred Andrew Hoover; and her siblings, Vivian Baker (John) and Claire Edmonson (Myrtle).
She is survived by: her husband George Hoover of Newburg; her children, Dana George Hoover (Susan) of Newburg, Mark Edward Hoover (Tammy) of Newburg and Lavon Teresa Hoover Boden (Robert) of Newburg; her grandchildren, Kimberly Shoap (Aron) of Newburg, Karen McNew (Chad) of Newburg, Devan Hoover of Shippensburg, Andrew Hoover (Clarissa) of Houston, TX, Adam Hoover (Brianne) of Martinsburg, WV, John Hoover (Chelsea) of Roxbury, Kyle Hoover of Newburg, R. Ray Boden III (Allison) of Newburg and Trent Boden of Newburg; her great grandchildren, Kourtney, Kelsey Shoap, Landen, MaKenna McNew, Brayden, Jacob, Joseph Hoover, Connor, Evaleen, Fynn Hoover, Hunter Boden, Luca Hoover-Fischer and Elia Hoover-Fischer; her sister Reba Files (late Wilbur) of Bellefonte; and her daughter-in-law Debra Hoover. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
