He was predeceased by: his parents, John N. Myers and Mildred Myers (Newell); and his brother Jerry Myers. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Carroll; his children, Chester W. Myers (Julie) of Newville, Tammy K. Beltz (Carl) of St. Thomas, Arthur R. Myers (Cindy) of Needmore and Sam E. Myers (Krista) of Chambersburg; and his brother Boyd Myers of Upper Strasburg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
