He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Swartz and Thelma Swartz (Hunter); his wife Barbara Ann Swartz; his son Dennis Thompson; and his siblings, Wayne Swartz, Otis Swartz and Karen Como.
He is survived by: his children, Missy Sherman (Steve) and John Swartz (Amy) of Espyville, PA; his grandchildren, Aaron Brooks (Bre Ruhl) of New Wilmington, Shane Brooks (Taylor) of New Wilmington, Elizabeth Swartz, Sharon, Kayla-Lynn Sherman of Arnold, PA, Kimberly Durden of Lebanon, PA., Amber Flocken of Lebanon, PA. and Skyar Flocken of Meadville, PA; and his great grandchildren, Mason Brooks, Jaelyn Roberts, Justin Durden Jr. and Besides.
