With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen David Szmigiel of New Tripoli, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Szmigiel and Elizabeth Szmigiel (Schneider); and his pets, Zora and Xena. He is survived by: his wife Brigid A. Gallagher; his brother Mark F. Szmigiel of Allentown; his parents-in-law, Carl Ehst, C. J., Colleen Gallagher, Brian, Jennifer Gallagher, Tim Gallagher, Erin, Rob Melissen and Steve; and his pet Ellie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, a small, private, invitation-only service will take place.
