He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Moyer (Stanton); his parents, Stanley A. Moyer and Rose Moyer (Chiorra); his sister Loretta Dibbell; his stepdaughters, Lara and Jocelyn Schaeffer; his granddaughters, Rose Russell and Emma Schaeffer; and his nieces, Sherri, Lynn and Karen.

“We are sorry to learn that "Jimmy Moyer" passed away. Jimmy....when we were kids that is the name every one knew James by. Jimmy lived on 9th street...and live on Fountain street. We were school buddies, we both worked for Aldrich Pump Co, Jimmy was an usher at our weeding....58 years ago. It has been a lot of years since we saw each other, but today the memories rush in. Jimmy was a smart cookie, excellent machinist and Engineer....and more than that a wonderful friend...back when. RIP Jimmy”
