With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence W. Stoner of New Stanton, Pennsylvania, born in Tarrs, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orton O. Stoner and Margaret Stoner (Leasure); his wife Phyllis Ritenour Stoner (Dick); and his siblings, Ronald, J. D. Stoner, Retha Hribal, Dolores Moore, Zelma Herbert, Gloria Miller, Jeannette Stoner, Martha Butler, Margaret Burkholder and Carol Kite.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Stoner (Debbie) of Greensburg, Kevin Stoner (Melissa) of Reynoldsville and Michelle "Missy" Shaffer (Joseph "Danny") of New Stanton; his siblings, Frank Stoner of Scottdale, David Stoner (Kathy) of Rostraver, Dianne Lint of Central, Emma Stoner of Ruffsdale and Deborah Lint (John) of Ruffsdale; his grandchildren, Alex Stoner (Becky), Abigail Stoner, Joseph Shaffer Jr., John Shaffer (Breanna), Chloe Stoner and Matthew Stoner; his pet Baby; and also, Jeff, Kathy Moore and Pete. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in Lawrence's name to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2094 Main St., Arona, PA 15617.
