He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob H. Snyder and Susan Shaffer (Markovich); and his wife Carol Ann Shaffer (Golobish). He is survived by: his children, Adam Shaffer (Sheila Cuellar-Shaffer) of Hempfield Township and Paula Shaffer (Eric West) of Greensburg; his brother Paul Shaffer of Arona; and his grandson Maximilian Shaffer.
