He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart McKinley and Lillian May Carroll (Amos); his wife Lucille Mae Carroll (Spaugy); his son Paul "Hobie" Carroll; his son-in-law Walter Velosky, Sr.; and his siblings, Willis, Floyd, Wayne, Pete, Dick, Jean and Jessie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Roxanne Gmutza (Albert), Donna Kovell (Jerry) and Dana Velosky; his daughter-in-law Sandy Carroll; his brother Earl Carroll; his grandchildren, Wally Velosky, Jamie Leichliter (Dave), Luke Carroll (Ashley), Elizabeth Glumac (Heath), Jessi Kovell, Allyson Gmutza (Shawn), Brett Carroll (Nikki), Dr. Lara Kovell (Stephen), Paul Gmutza (Jessica), Abby Cheberenchick (Ryan), Arianne Gmutza and Deanna Kovell; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn Velosky, Evan, Avery, Adrienne Leichliter, Larkin, Lincoln Carroll, Tyler, Chase Glumac, Sophia, Maria Capan, Brooks, Harlan Carroll, Samuel, Addison, Eleanor, Jonathan Juraschek, Arabella, Dean Gmutza, Emmeline Cheberenchick, McKinley Gmutza-Jordan and Skylar Jordan.
He continued this until the age of 93, when Springdale Golf Club closed and the Covid-19 Pandemic began.
