She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Vega and Ruperta Vega (Santiago); her husband John G. Groff, Sr.; her siblings, Carmen Nieves and Jose Santiago; and her son-in-law Kevin Cutler.

She is survived by: her children, Rose M. Groff, John G. Groff, Jr. and Joan L. Cutler; her grandchildren, Stephen T. Groff (Caitlin Akerly), John G. Groff, III, Dalton Groff, Kaitlyn Cutler (Josh Giglio) and Trevor Cutler; her great grandchildren, Aiden Longenecker and Ariella Groff; and her siblings, Felix Vega and Irma Morales.
