He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Rice; his children, Dolores Waters, Diane Waters, Debra Waters (Ronny Fryberger), Denise Waters and Demmy Rankin; his grandsons, Joshua Waters, Steven Skotarczak and Alex Rankin; and his sister Marion Eckman.
