He was predeceased by: his parents, David Wayne Whisman and Deborah Irene Boyd (Woods); his stepfather James Boyd; and his granddaughter Ava. He is survived by: his wife Brandi Whisman (Zook); his children, Austin Polizzi (Peyton), Jeremy Absher (Lexi), Savannah Shertzer (Hunter), Nick Whisman (Wren) and Alex Whisman of Joshua; his grandchildren, Jace and Maisyn; and his siblings, Ray Whisman, Tony Whisman (Pam), Jimmy Boyd and Sameigh Scharon (Johnny).
