He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Brooks and Anna E. Argires Brooks Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Herman Brooks; his children, Danny (Marie Ondeck Schaller) of New Holland, Megan Schaller of New Providence and Kaitlin Schaller; his close friend Ben Ruth of Columbia; his grandchildren, Spencer, Ryder, Sophia, Greyson, Evelyn and Paisley; and his siblings, Richard E. Jr. (Linda Tragon Brooks) of Strasburg and Beverly A. (Kenneth Shoff) of Lancaster. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews plus their spouses and children.
