He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Steele and Myrle Steele (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Ruth K. Steele (Dawson); his children, Brenda Feerrar (Harold "Bud") and Jack D. Steele, Jr. (Christien); his sisters, Betty Carson, Violet Cantrell and Rita Straley; and his grandchildren, Lace Anne of Harold, Janine, Lance, Allison and Jack. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
