He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Martin Gossert; his parents, Harry D. Gossert, and June Brandt Gossert, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Tracy Gossert; and his siblings, Polly Gossert, Bill Gossert and Carolyn Bills.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Sheaffer (Joseph), Sharon Williams, III (Charles) and Randall Gossert; his grandchildren, Rebecca Sorg, Shawn Sheaffer, Chad Williams, Kelly Loy and Hunter Gossert; and his siblings, Shirley Sauders, Tom Gossert, Arlene Wise and Judy Schultz. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
