He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter S., Jr. and Violet O. Hubbs (Lefever); and his brothers, Walter, Marvin, Richard and James Hubbs.
He is survived by: his close friend Sally Rhoads; his children, David A. Hubbs and Lisa (William Morrison); his grandchildren, Skylar, Alex, Zachary, Ainsley and Kiara; and his brothers, John and Robert Hubbs. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
