Zachary Amos Obituary

Zachary Lee Amos 56, of New Paris, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born on January 18, 1965 in Bedford, a son of the late Delmar J. Amos and Hazel (Simons) Amos surviving of New Paris. In addition to his mother he is survived by five brothers: Delmar J. Amos Jr., of Ligonier, Tom Amos and wife Tammy, of Waynesboro, Tim Amos and wife Bonnie, of Schellsburg, Terry Amos, of Harrisburg, and Mark Amos, of Germany; two sisters: Stephanie Layton of Bedford, and Patricia Amos, of New Paris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Grimm. Zachary worked at Hedstrom and after its closing became a full time caregiver for his mother. Funeral services will be private. Burial at Union Cemetery, Centerville. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.
