He was predeceased by: his sisters, Paula (Patty) and Mary; his great grandchild Randy Jay Reffner; and his niece Laurie Cray. He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Diehl (Wayde); his sons, John, Jr. (Mareda) and Matthew Diehl (Kerry Howsare); his grandchildren, Stephanie Diehl, Megan Queen, John Diehl III, Matthew W. Diehl (Walter) and Rylee Howsare; his great grandchildren, Ella Sabo and Blake Queen; and his brothers, Paul Terry (Kitra) and Mark E. (Samantha).
