It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean H Mitchell of New Paris, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hillegass and Dorothy Hillegass (Bowser); and her husband Bert Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Nancy (late Bill Simons) of Schellsburg, Roger Mitchell of Scottsdale, AZ, Gloria (Marvin Miller) of New Paris and John (Jodi); her grandchildren, Kimberly (Russ Nyberg), Troy Simons, Shelly Sorenson, April (Warren Dull), David Miller, Joshua Miller, Erin Mitchell, Megan Mitchell and Shane Mitchell; and her sisters, Pauline Snavely and Helen Imgrund. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson.
