He is survived by: his wife Dixie Ake (Whisner); his son Justin Ake (Kimberly) of Altoona; his grandchildren, Tyson, Jocelyn and Alaina; his siblings, Galen E. Ake of Everett, Linda J. Koontz (Mike) of New Enterprise and Vicki L. Imler (Steve) of Everett; and his nephew Earl John Davis of New Paris. He is also survived by 13 other nieces and nephews.
