He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivory Smith and Ethel Pearl Smith (Earnest); and his siblings, Charles, Florence E. Smith, Anna Lois Diehl and Laverne.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean Smith (Diehl) of New Paris; his children, Allen D. (Gwendolyn), Susan E. (Rodney Clark) of Bedford, Duane R. (Dorothy) and Brent E. (Joann); his grandchildren, Joseph Smith (Gwendolyn), William Smith (Valerie), Benjamin Smith (Tabatha), Kimberly Webb (Christopher), Clarece Zimmerman (Bentley), Savanna Smith and Emily Clark; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Isaac, Isabella, Graham, Chase, Gabriella, Logan, Audrey, Sadie, Harper and Nolan Webb.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc. (3779 Pitt St, Schellsburg, PA 15559). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
