She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Nunamaker and Myrtle Nunamaker (Keiper); her former spouse D. Glen Defibaugh; her husband Ernest Berkey; and her siblings, Chelsea Rininger, Marietta Dunlap, Harry Russell, Cyril Nunamaker and Donald Nunamaker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Eileen Harbaugh (late Ronald) of Fishertown, Debra Wise (Tim) of York and Cheryl Berkey (Rodney) of New Paris; her stepdaughters, Phyllis Berkey of Johnstown, Joyce Calhoun (Guy) of Bedford, Betty Whetstone (Dan) of New Paris, Janice Bence (Brian) of Virginia and Sharon Stone (Michael) of Ohio; and her sister Barbara Bender (late Harry) of Windber. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Brethren Bible Church (120 Chestnut Ridge Rd, New Paris, PA 15554). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
