With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ruth Ickes of New Paris, Pennsylvania, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hemminger and Florence Hemminger (Stern); her husband Anson; and her children, Linda Dull, Lynn Ickes and Lisa Ickes.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Shelly Ickes) of Imler, Patricia Wissinger of Fishertown, Perry Ickes of New Paris and Pamela Burkett of New Paris. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren.
