He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kerrick and Dorothy Kerrick (Stuft); and his nephew Jason Kerrick. He is survived by: his wife Barbara S. Kerrick (Mitchell) of New Paris; his daughter Melissa (Jase Deffibaugh); his grandchildren, Dallas Elliott, Braylynn Elliott and Rylee Deffibaugh; and his siblings, Carol Sayne and Rick Kerrick.
