She was predeceased by: her father Larry K. Smith; her brother Timothy Smith; and her stepfather Ed Hyser. She is survived by: her mother Betty L. Smith-Hyser (Cousler) of Dallastown; her husband Ervin "Oz" Eckert; her sons, Shane Eckert, Chase Eckert, Travis Eckert and Chad Eckert; and her brothers, Bryan Smith of Thomasville, Thomas Smith of Wrightsville and Christopher Smith of Dallastown. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
