We bid farewell to Shelvia J. Fox of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Shelvia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer G. Rippeon and Helen Weishaar Shoemaker; her husband Walter Fox; her son Terry Shifflett; her granddaughter Carly Utz; and her siblings, Arlene Stahley, Lois Smith, Esther Gilmore, Thomas, Elmer, Wayne Rippeon and Paul Heffner.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Frank" Baugher, Jr. (Leah) of Westminster, Kimberly Thompson (Robert) of Keymar, Constance "Connie" Nash of Manchester and Tammy Bankert (Kenneth Good) of New Oxford, PA; and her stepson Patrick Fox. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services (254 E Main St, Westminster, MD 21157).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
