Rosemary J. Benjamin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, at the age of 94, Rosemary J. Benjamin of New Oxford, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred J. Fiore and Julia P. Fiore (Pietras); her husband Robert E. "Bob" Benjamin; her daughter Jeanne Benjamin; her great grandchild Naomi Cranston; and her brother Alfred N. Fiore.
She is survived by: her children, Gary M. Benjamin of Reading, PA, Gail B. Johnson (Brian) of East Berlin, PA, Carl M. Benjamin (Terrie) of Salem, VA and Julie B. d'Aliberti (Mark) of Wakeman, OH. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (6084 W Canal Rd, Abbottstown, PA 17301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (2724 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rosemary's memory to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 W Canal Road, Abbottstown, PA 17301 or to the Good Samaritan Fund, c/o The Cross Keys Village - Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350.
