We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2023, at the age of 79, Richard Delmar Kloss of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, born in Frostburg, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Edward Kloss and Verna Marie Warner Kloss; and his brother Robert Paul Kloss. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hooper Kloss; his children, Richard Delmar Kloss Jr. (Susan) of Owings, MD, Teresa Lynne O'Donnell of Spring Hill, FL and Gary Edward Kloss (Julianna) of Virginia Beach, VA; his stepson Clifton L. Hooper (Tommie) of Upperco, MD; his grandchildren, Justin Hooper (Jessica), Jessica Hooper Michaels (William), Shannon Kopchinski (Ray), Daniel Majack (Ashleigh), Christopher Erly (Sarah), Allison Kloss, Ethan Kloss and Matthew Kloss; and his nephews, Tracy Kloss and Randy Kloss. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
