He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Forney and Olive Garman Forney. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Coulson Forney; his children, Carol E. Forney (Jim Smethurst) of Deerfield, MA, Julie Forney Menin of Newburyport, MA and Christopher J. Forney (Meaghan Parker) of Silver Spring, MD; his grandchildren, Linnea, Noah and Corrina; and his niece Sherry Ann Forney Frey (Dick) of York.
