With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Waters in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, born in Robesonia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Ellen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Ellen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM and at 10:45 AM at the Brethren Home (2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17340). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. They had been, until recently, active members of the "Flirts and Skirts" square dance club, and the " Dance-A-Rounds" round dance club in Dillsburg, PA, and were still actively dancing with the "Harmony Squares" at Cross Keys Retirement Village until the Covid-19 pandemic halted the activity.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to The Gideons International, P. O. Box 734, Biglerville, PA 17307, to be used for the purchase of scriptures for distribution throughout the world in Mary Ellen's memory.
