He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland A. Bankert and Louise Bankert (Yost); and his sister Marie Wolf. He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Bankert (Barnhart); his children, Pamela J. Storm (Joey) of New Oxford, Gregory R. Bankert (Amber) of New Oxford and Linda S. Yocum (Craig) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Drew Bankert, Maxwell Storm, Samuel Storm and Rachel Storm; and his siblings, Timothy Bankert, Thomas Bankert and Joyce Gruver of Hanover.
