He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John V. Haws, Jr. of Deale, MD and Jean E. Mentzer (Miller); his significant other Suzanne M. Ely; his children, Melissa A. (Zane Pritt) of Biglerville, Amanda (Joshua Nicholson) of Mechanicsburg and Jonathan (Autumn Hawthorne) of Pocono; his grandchildren, Victoria L. Plank, Mackinley, Harper, Emmy Nicholson and Jensen Hawthorne; and his siblings, Gloria Haws, Barbara Murphy, Larry Haws, Wayne and Ricky Haws.
