He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Dale Borger and Beatrice Evelyn Borger (Meeker) of Hanover, PA.. He is survived by : his wife Mary L. Borger of Gettysburg; his daughters, Angela L. Borger of Gettysburg and Cynthia L. Lowe (Greg) of Abbottstown; his granddaughters, Natalie and Elizabeth Lowe (Libby); and his brother Byron Borger (Beth) of Dallastown, PA. He is also survived by many cousins, family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (109 York St, Gettysburg, PA 17325).
