She was predeceased by: her husband John N. Carpenter; her parents, Charles E. Garber and Florence E. Garber (Rippeon); her great grandchild Jacob Jones; and her siblings, Ada Hahn, Cephas, Ralph, Earl, Merton Garber, Mary Stewart, Mabel Ruppert and Lurena Condon.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Krom of Hanover; her grandchildren, Lisa Jones, Kevin of Littlestown, Darryl Krom and Laurie of Hanover; and her great grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicholas Jones and Nicholas Beard.
