He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence and Beulah R. Shipley (Heiner); his daughters, Mychelle A. Wolf (Randy) of New Oxford and Theresa J. Taylor (Allen); his daughter-in-law Nelda L. Altland; his siblings, Frederick A. Shipley, Sr. of York, Darlene D. Godfrey of Seven Valleys and Deborah A. Day of Thomasville; and his son Matthew E. Altland. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
