He is survived by: his wife Mary (Moore); his children, Terrance L. Hertz and Leslie A. Johnston; his grandchildren, Kate, Kristen, Kody and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Tessa and Lane; and his brothers, Thomas L. Hertz and Philip F. Hertz.
