He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Henry Richter and Helen Margaret Barnhart Richter; his daughter Lisa Richter Heaton; and his sister Hermine Lenker. He is survived by: his wife Carole Sue Amweg Richter; his daughters, Jennifer Richter, Samantha Pack (Kevin), Kate Hull (Dick) and Amy Richter (Angie); and his grandchildren, Karl, Brennan, Ryan, Alex, Andrew, Tyler, Allie, Amy and Ian.
