She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elbert J. and Katherine Thornhill, Sr. (Smith); her husband Niles R. Ellingson; her children, Cynthia L. (Hank Janczyk) of Biglerville, Julia A. (Terry Sharun) of York and Thomas M. (Karen Ellingson) of Olney, MD; and her brother Elbert J. Thornhill, Jr. (Joan) of Glen Arm, MD.. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
