She was predeceased by: her husband George R. "Bob" Chronister, Jr.; her parents, Austin A. Staub, Sr. and Regina C. Staub (Robinson); her brother Austin A. Staub, Jr. (Darlene M. Staub); and her son-in-law Stephen Wolford.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Chronister (Debbie) of York, George Chronister (Karen) of Dover, Beverly Wolford of Hanover, Susan Fleshman of McSherrystown, Anita Emlet (Wesley) of Ortanna and Kim Burgoon (Donald Cooper) of New Oxford; and her sister Teresa Reimold (Donnie) of Glen Rock. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy-Beck Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. (501 Ridge Ave, McSherrystown, PA 17344). A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. (501 Ridge Ave, McSherrystown, PA 17344). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (106 Carlisle St, New Oxford, PA 17350).
